Flight #2000-8 "Venera"
Launch Date: TBA.
October 22, 2000
Due to unfavorable weather and other factors, flight 2000-8 had to be
cancelled just hours before launch. Rather than try to reschedule, we
are concentraiting our energies into getting the new modular gondola
system ready for our first zero-pressure balloon launch,
flight 2000-9.
October 13, 2000
The launch date has been moved to Sunday, October 22, to accomodate the
high-power model rocket launch taking place at Nemo's farm on the 21st.
October 2, 2000
We will be flying our new gondola provided the new flight computer shows up
in time for us to program. Otherwise, we'll reuse the Octagonal payload from
the last flight.
